Patriot Act

The Patriot Act authorizes administrative subpeonas of phone records so you can blame Congress and President for the express existence of this authority.

Hmmm..So instead of submitting 300 million requests for this information, the NSA consolidated them into one request.

Sidenote:
The USA Today instead of writing their own story - reprints (steals) the story from the New York Times. But the timing of the reprinted (stolen) story was not political - it had nothing to do with General Hayden's nomination as Director, CIA. nope, not at all.

The MoHamster Dance: The MoHamster Dance

The MoHamster Dance: The MoHamster Dance

This temporary filler for Aarons CC is TOO FUNNY.

Timing

The USA Today has bad timing.
Why bring up this supposed database of phone records?
Yesterday, the President took a beating over the Mexican control of the US Border Patrol. A story which has not been extensively covered in the MSM. But, I guess that the MSM is happy with the Mexican influence on US Border policy and actions. I suppose that the MSM and Democrats are pleased that the US government monitors US citizens and reports to the Mexican government.
If your goal is the impeachment of President Bush, this story of Mexican control of the US Border Patrol is the ticket.
If the NSA is tracking all phone calls in the USA, analysing calling patterns for possible terrorist activity, this is a good thing - considering that a foreign government controls our border.
Americans are pleased that Bush has aggressively tracked terrorists.
Advise to the President..
move the Mexicans out of the US Border Patrol offices - NOW.
build wall/fence on southern border. - NOW.
AFTER wall is built - then work with Congress to decide about those illegals who are already here.
Tell the NSA - good job - continue the effective programs.

NSA Data Collection

According their unnamed sources, the USA Today claims that NSA has a huge database of information concerning phone calls made within the USA.

So unnamed leakers, violating the law and their agreements to keep government secrets, are again trying to undermine national security.   Actually, they don't care about national security, they only hate President Bush and are doing everything they can to undermine him.

Supposedly, this data collection program started in 2002. And Congress has been routinely briefed on it.

Citing a 1934 law, it is said that it is illegal for the telephone companies to provide this information.

Until there is proof that the government has misused this information, I support this program.

Impeachment

Mr President,
Allowing the US Border Patrol to make reports on the activities of private US Citizens to the Government of Mexico is a high crime worthy of impeachment.

According to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin:

U.S. tipping Mexico to Minuteman patrols

By Sara A. Carter, Staff Writer

While Minuteman civilian patrols are keeping an eye out for illegal border crossers, the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are.

According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants -- and if and when violence is used against border crossers.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman confirmed the notification process, describing it as a standard procedure meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants' rights are being observed.

And worse is the report also in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin:

However, the Mexican report also contains specific information on civilian groups operating much farther inside the United States.

For example, the document notes that 50 Minuteman volunteers work in Chicago, focusing mainly on employers who hire illegal immigrants.

Minuteman volunteers said specific information -- such as the number of volunteers and their plans -- could have been provided only by law enforcement officials at that time. The document credits the various Mexican consul general offices in the U.S. with providing the information to the Mexican Foreign Secretary for the reports.

"How did they know the number of volunteers in Chicago? And why should the Mexican government care?" asked Connie Hair, spokeswoman for the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps in Washington, D.C.

Mr President - Why is the US Government reporting the activities of US Citizens to a foriegn government?

Why aren't the existing immigration laws being enforced? Why does the Government of Mexico dicate how the US Border Patrol will operate?

Why are You, Mr President, endangering my family by not securing the borders?

I support your impeachment.

Captured Documents from Centcom

Centcom has released some captured documents. They show how weak the terrorists are:

At the end [of one memo], we find this gem:
Northern al-Karkh groups are estimated at 40 mujahid, so is the Southern Karkh. They could double that number if necessary. Al-Rassafah groups in general is estimated at 30 mujahidin as I was informed by the commander of al-Rassafah. These are very small numbers compared to the tens of thousands of the enemy troops. How can we increase these numbers?

This plaintive assessment shows how weakened Zarqawi has become at the hands of the Americans. Between the three commands in the Baghdad area, AQ has a grand total of 110 mujahid, admittedly no match for the thousands of American troops in Baghdad and the thousands of Iraqi troops we are training and putting into play. No wonder Zarqawi has given up on suicide missions -- he has almost nothing left.

Here we go again.

Websters would have you believe that domestic means it stays within the borders of one country, and international means it involves two or more countries.
However, the media uses a different dictionary. One that defines a phone call from New York to Islamabad as a domestic call.

The NSA Program of monitoring international (as defined by Webster) calls from/to suspected terrorists is a legal program. A program with Congressional and Federal court oversight. A program which has been modified to meet objections raised by the FISA Court.

This will be an entertaining confirmation hearing for General Hayden. The man who used his authority to start this NSA Program. A man who acted to prevent more attacks on US soil.

To watch the Democrats assail a man who acted, using the authority he had to actively prevent more attacks, this will be fun.

To watch the Democrats destory themselves by arguing that taking action to protect this country on one own's initative is bad, that he should have waited for specific approval from congress after public debate....

Immigration

Dear President Bush.
Build Wall on Southern Border.
For historical reference: See Wall on the Northern Border of China. It stopped the Mongrians from destorying China.
We need wall to control the flow of immigrants from the south.
Once border is controlled, then we can deal with the illegals who are already here. This deal can include a path to citizenship. But no deal is possible without control of the border.
Thank You

Special Ed

Captain Ed has been recently referred to as Special Ed on some blogs.

Well, Cap't feel good about that.
My daughter has been a Rhythmic Gymnast for over 7 years now.
She is also a straight "A" Honors student in all AP classes.
But she is very proud of her Special Olympic Gold Medals.
Her gym also host the county's Special Olympic Gymnastics Team. She competes as a unified partner with a Special Olympian and earns her medals.
Those Special Olympians are very special people.

Small Turnout but they're not working today

from the WSBTV.Com

ATLANTA -- Several hundred people have turned out for a rally in downtown Atlanta to protest tighter immigration laws.

Authorities prepared for as many as 100,000 immigration demonstrators to gather at the state Capitol.

But I noticed no landscapers/house painters on the road this morning. And I haven't seen the janitorial staff in my office building either. I don't know if any of the other call-outs were related to the "Day without Immigrants".

May Day

Tomorrow, 5/1/06, many Latinos will join a work stoppage to protest immigration reform. As long as the protest is peaceful, I will defend their right as granted by

Amendment I to United States Constitution

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Now, some will argue that this does not apply to the illegal immigrants. But, with emphasis on peaceful, I would extend this right to them.

Since, our government does not have the will to exercise control of our borders. These illegals are here to stay.

Build the wall on the southern border..

deport the criminals..

enforce the legal immigration laws..

eliminate the 'birthright citizenship'.

A quick way to make this happen, require that all INS employees be legal immigrants or the children of legal immigrants.

May Day - the Communist/Socialists holiday

Will Cinco de Mayo be happy or sad?

101st Fighting Keyboardists

The Many,
The Proud,
The Fighting KeeBees.

Islamism = Racism

Which is why we can't extend the Geneva Conventions to enemies who do not respect the conventions in turn. Like Islamists.

Consider:

Islamists believe their holy book gives them license to murder, rape, and maim "infidels." And also: to lie as regards surrenders and treaties, treating these as mere opportunities to regroup for the next attack.

Such behavior is considered dishonorable by every one else in the world (if not outright inhuman).

But not for Islamists. The dishonorable and inhuman is permitted as long as the victims of such dishonorable and inhuman treatment are not practicing Muslims.

When will the 'Nation of Aztlan' begin the war against the 'Nation of Islam'?

Open Letter to the President

Dear Mr President,

       FIRST, BUILD THE WALL,
THEN, DEAL WITH THE ILLEGALS who are already here.

Since, 100's of illegal immigrants enter our nation from Mexico - daily. This nation must stop the flow before we can address, those who are already here.
Deportation - is simply a revolving door without a wall.

Control of Congress rides on an effective answer to this issue. Bi-partisan support of a wall, is there, if you seek it.

Thank you

Muslims again attack Free Speech

Muslims at Michigan State University have shown their intolerance. They are demending punishment for a Professor who privately told the Muslim group how he feels about the jihadis. This professor is offended by murder, rape and torture conducted in the name of the Prophet.

from Foxnews

Wichman, 50, wrote that he was protesting their protest and said he was not offended by cartoons but rather Muslims who commit suicide bombings, behead civilians, attack public buildings, burn Christian churches, kill Catholic priests in Turkey, rape Scandinavian girls and riot in France.

Wichman referred to Muslims as "dissatisfied, aggressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems" and the protests as "infantile" in the e-mail. "If you do not like the values of the West . . . you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option."

Of course CAIR is upset, how dare anyone be offended by the actions of Muslims.

Dawud Walid, executive director of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said Michigan State officials should publicly denounce Wichman's statements and conduct an investigation. The results of the probe should be made public, and Wichman should at least have a letter of reprimand placed in his file, Walid said.

The university is thus far acting correctly:

University spokesman Terry Denbow said the school would not publicly condemn Wichman's statements because they were private and did not represent the school in any way. But he added that Wichman has been advised to be careful in the future.

and finally CAIR is demanding that the entire faculty be punished with sensitivity training. I wonder if this training will also include being sensitive to non-Muslims.
