Offensive Attack on Free Speech

I haven't blogged in a while, because Twitter is easier and faster.
but this is much too long for a Tweet:

An email I received:

From: Levana - Health Care for America Now <hcan@healthcareforamericanow.org>
Date: Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 4:53 PM
Subject: Join us - special briefing from Rep. Doggett, actress Edie Falco, and more
To:[redacted]

Dear [redacted]:

By now, I'm sure you've heard about the lobbyist-funded right-wing extremists making trouble at town halls all across America.

These disruptions are funded by special interests like the insurance companies, who want to kill health care reform as quickly as possible.1 They're trying to make sure nobody can have a productive, rational conversation about what health care reform will do for you and me. We can't let them stifle debate or we will not win health care reform this year.

So, we've organized a special briefing with Texas Representative Lloyd Doggett, actress Edie Falco, Richard Kirsch, Health Care for America Now's National Campaign Director, and Dan Heck, a regional director for Working America and Health Care for America Now to get the facts out about health care reform, find out what's at stake, and learn what you and I can do to help pass reform.

Can you join us for a special briefing on Tuesday, August 11th at 9 pm EST (6 pm PST) to learn about health care reform and how to right back against the lobbyist-funded right-wing? Click here to RSVP.

We've lined up some speakers on the call who really know what they're talking about.

Texas Representative Lloyd Doggett talk about his experiences with these disruption tactics and what you can expect. Actress and advocate Edie Falco will tell you what's at stake.
Richard Kirsch, our National Campaign Director, will talk about our historic progress on passing health reform and what we need to do to get it over the finish line. And Dan Heck, a regional director for Working America and Health Care for America Now who's out there every day talking to real people about this issue will give you tips on how to combat some of the biggest myths out there on health reform and how to get involved in your community.

Can you join us for this special briefing with Representative Doggett, Edie Falco, Richard Kirsch, Dan Heck, and thousands of activists and organizers like you and me? Click here to RSVP for the call on Tuesday, August 11th at 9 pm EST (6pm PST).

We'll also take questions for the speakers. You can submit a question you'd like to ask when you sign up to RSVP for the training call.

It's crucial that we're out there busting myths and promoting health reform every day in August while Congress is back at home, listening to their voters.

Please join us!

To your health,

Levana Layendecker
Health Care for America Now

RSVP for the call

P.S.
We've been busy loading hundreds of local town hall events into our system. It's crucial supporters of health care reform get out and make our voices heard this month while Congress is home listening to you. Click here to go to our homepage and search for events in your area.

VOTE FRAUD PAID FOR BY

DEMOCRATS

Obama has paid ACORN $800,000.

The Democrat Sec. of State in Ohio, Ms Brunner,
has criminally refused to tell the county Boards of Election
about the 200,000 mismatched voter registrations.

Obama can only win thru vote fraud.

Honest people will not vote for him.

See ACE for more details.

Challenge to Conservatives

An Election challenge for conservatives, designed to show why voting in November is important even if you can not vote for John McCain.

Name your US Senators:
Mine are Chambliss and Isakson.

If a one of your Senators is up for re-election, Will you vote for them and Why? Name the challenger if you will not vote to re-elect your Senator.
Senator Chambliss is up for re-election. I will vote for him because he is a solid Republican Senator, opposed to amnesty for illegals, strong on defense.

Name your Congressman (or Congresswoman):
Mine is Tom Price.

Will you vote to return him (her) to Congress, Why or Why not?
Yes, I want to return Tom Price to Congress. He is a solid conservative Republican.

Remember there are more offices besides the Oval Office to be filled in November.
Please tell your readers to vote in November. The down ballot offices are important.

All three of the Presidential candidates favor open borders, our only hope is blocking them in the House of Representatives.

The new President will likely appoint one maybe two new Supreme Court Justices (Stevens and Ginsberg are old). We must keep enough Senators (at least 40) to be able to moderate these lifetime appointments.

Our only hope for blocking tax increases is in the House of Representatives and with 40 Senators to filibuster the increases, remember the 'Bush Tax Cuts' expire in 2010.

Veterans and Murder

Veterans are LESS likely to commit murder than non-veterans.

Veterans are more law abiding and have more self-control.

So, why does the NY Times slander veterans?

Why does the NY Times imply that veterans are dangerous and and a threat to civil society?

Is it because the NY Times is bias against the US Military?

From CWO Jim Funk

"Hello media, do you know you indirectly kill American soldiers every day? You inspire and report the enemy's objective every day. You are the enemy's greatest weapon. The enemy cannot beat us on the battlefield so all he does is try to wreak enough havoc and have you report it every day. With you and the enemy using each other, you continually break the will of the American public and American
government.

"We go out daily and bust and kill the enemy, uncover and destroy huge weapons caches and continue to establish infrastructure. So daily we put a whoopin on the enemy, but all the enemy has to do is turn on the TV and get re-inspired. He gets to see his daily roadside bomb, truck bomb, suicide bomber or mortar attack. He doesn't see any accomplishments of the U.S. military (FOX, you're not exempt, you suck also).

"We, the soldiers, keep breaking the back of the enemy.

You, the media, keep rejuvenating the enemy."

Appeal for Courage

Reposted from The Cook Shack -- Gab & Grub

Well Sir....at Bluto's request, I borrowed and posted this....and I agree completely....

The Latest Mainstream Media Lie...

...is a lie of omission.

John Hinderaker at Powerline writes about The Appeal for Courage:

As an American currently serving my nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to fully support our mission in Iraq and halt any calls for retreat. I also respectfully urge my political leaders to actively oppose media efforts which embolden my enemy while demoralizing American support at home.

The War in Iraq is a necessary and just effort to bring freedom to the Middle East and protect America from further attack. It was signed by 2,700 active duty service men and women, and the only place you'll read about it is on blogs like this one. Not your local newspaper, not CNN, certainly not NBC or CBS - not even Fox, so often accused of leaning right. But you'll certainly hear about three disgruntled generals and their hissy fits over strategy and tactics.

That's news, at least as profoundly biased mainstream media types define it. It should shame
every one of us that those who are putting their lives at risk for our freedom and safety feel the need to publicly ask the folks at home and their representatives to grow a pair of balls.

As a Disabled Vet, I am becoming so ashamed of our Government...and most certainly the MSM of this country....

Cookie....

As a veteran, the domestic enemies of freedom - MSM - disgust me to no end. They are nothing but idiots who are to stupid to see how their actions endanger the very freedoms they abuse.

Marvin....
