"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself." The Declaration of Arbroath - April 6th, 1320

This is exactly what would happen if that historic day had occurred in 2007.
My father fought in the Pacific in WW2 and my uncle was one of those brave men who landed on the Normandy Beaches in 1944.
I find the way the media covers this war as terrible. They look for things to go wrong and jump on them to make their negative point.
We need to get back to the mindset of the USA in WW2. I know it will not occur in my lifetime. Perhaps we will get there in the lifetimes of my children and grandchildren.
God Bless the USA and all the fine men and women who pick up a weapon the defend her.
