Why Blog?
Why do I blog?
Simple, so I can express myself.
Does it matter whether anybody reads my blog? Not really.
I put comments on moderation because some folks did look at this blog, when I first posted the Danish cartoons. A comment was deleted, because the language used was too foul. I agreed with the gist of the comment but could not sanction the language.
I have been threatened, indirectly, because of posting the Danish cartoons.
If you don’t like what I say, don’t come back.
To blog well, takes time and effort.
Each post is a short essay.
Each post is an important moment of free speech.
My blog is an international publication.
It could be read the world over.
It could be ignored the world over.
It could start riots.
It could be ignored the world over.
It could start an international debate.
It could be ignored the world over.
Blogs are the finest form of speech, yet invented. (Thanks be to Al Gore for inventing the Internet.)
