According to reports, The White House Counsel (Harriet Miers) wanted all 93 US Attorneys replaced.
The Attorney General only fired 8.
The Attorney General should be praised for not removing the other 85 US Attorneys.
President Bush complained about the failure of US Attorneys to stop voter fraud.
Once again, Democrats and the MSM want to enable voter fraud.
By the way, Bill Clinton replace ALL 93 US Attorneys when he took office. But of course, we can not question the actions of a Democrat.
US Attorneys are appointed by the President, confirmed by the Senate. The Patriot Act has increased the time a US Attorney may served without confirmation by the Senate.
