Marines guilty again without trial

7 seven Marines and 1 Navy Corpsman are being held in pre-trial confinement. Solitary confinement.

The press, of course, has already convicted them. The investigation is not yet complete. No charges have been filed.

Innocent until proven guilty? Justice for all? Benefit of the doubt? These are apparently foreign concepts when it comes to Americans in uniform being held on American soil. Perhaps if our troops proclaimed themselves "conscientious objectors" and converted to Islam, they might start getting some sympathy.

It seems that the Marines have no legal rights since Rep. Murtha declared a different set of Marines guilty at Haditha - still waiting for that investigation to be completed.

This is a disgusting way to treat those who risk their lives to provide freedom.
