Muslims demand Sweden adopt Shari Law

Egyptian ambassador Mohamed Sotouhi told news agency TT that he and
a group of fellow ambassadors had agreed on a list of measures Sweden
needed to take if it was to secure a long-term solution to the Muhammad
cartoon controversy.

Let's see how can Sweden make the Muslims grow up, how do you make millions of screaming infants stop screaming and mature into responsible adults.

According to Sotouhi, “comprehensive measures” were required if
Sweden was to prevent some “amateur artist” from reawakening tensions
every other month.

Get over it, Free Speech allows some amateur artist to insult people. Ignore the insult and get a life.

“We want to see action, not just nice words. We have to push for a
change in the law,” he said. “Muslims need legal protection against the
desecration of the Prophet Muhammad, maybe something similar to the
protection enjoyed by Jews and homosexuals.”

We, the free people of the world, want to see Muslims living peacefully, we want the mass murders, the acts of terror, the killing of innocent people to cease.

Mr Ambassador, go back to the Muslims and tell them to stop killing each other, to stop attacking the Jewish state, to stop killing innocent people, to stop demanding we adopt Shari Law.

Enough already

Fred Quote

Before anything else, folks in Washington ought to be asking first and foremost, “Should government be doing this? And if so, then at what level of government?” But they don’t.
- Fred Thompson

Fred 2008

As Fred Thompson proclaimed his presidential candidacy on NBC's "Tonight Show," the most telling moment came when he sparked wild cheering as he spoke this truth:

America has laid down more of its blood and treasure in the cause of freedom than all other countries combined.

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE:

Those who hammer their guns into plows,
will plow for those who do not.

An armed man is a citizen.
An unarmed man is a subject.

A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

Colt, the original point and click interface.
Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.

If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?

If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.

Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Those who trade liberty for security have neither.

What part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand?

The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.

64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.

Guns only have two enemies; rust and politicians.

Know guns, know peace, know safety.
No guns, no peace, no safety.

You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.

911 - Government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.

Assault is a behavior, not a device.

Criminals love gun control; it makes their jobs safer.

If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.

Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

You have only the rights you are willing to fight for.

Enforce the gun control laws we ALREADY have; don't make more.

When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

Thank You, Jimmy Carter (WorstPresidentEver)

Notice how many leaders of today’s Iran are from the 1979 embassy hostage takers?
The latest one is now running the IRGC.

If we have just stormed in and reclaimed our embassy instead of sitting in the White House - scared sh!tless..

Iran would have a different and most likely more moderate set of leaders today.

But Thanks to Jimmy Carter, we have a radical Iran which is threatening the entire world with nuclear terrorism.

First, Jimmy Carter helped overthrow the Shah -- because of human rights abuses,
replaced by hard line Islamic leaders, who continued the human rights abuses.

Then, Jimmy sat in the White House - too terrified to act with military force, but allowing our troops to enter Iran, before he chickened out....

If Jimmy had just simply told the military to get them out, NOW, I don't care how much of Tehran is flattened in the process....

The entire world would have been too scared to harm another American..

But no, Jimmy was the laughingstock of the world....

Thanks, Jimmy

It is still early

the Presidential Election is in November

2008

that is 14 months from now.

We are still early in this presidential cycle.
MILFORD, NH -- Labor Day is, to be sure, an artificial dividing point
for American politics. It’s not as if voters who were uninterested
Friday suddenly become, on Tuesday, voluminous consumers of
information. But somehow it’s become a custom to believe that, before
Labor Day, it’s “early.” After Labor Day, it’s – real time. Before
Labor Day, campaigns test messages; after Labor Day, they’ve settled on
one. A message, basically, is a reason. It’s a reason dressed up in the
stale language of politics – “change,” “hope,” “meeting challenges”
“stand up” – but somewhere in there, an argument about a reason lurks.

Wrong Labor Day -- You are one year, three hundred sixty five (365) days, early!

The 'message' from Democrats will change over the next 14 months, as they sail the political winds.

new low for Democrats

Evacuation was 'individual responsibility,' Blanco testifies

By Paul Rioux

Times Picayune

August 29, 2007

ST. FRANCISVILLE -- Taking the witness stand Tuesday in the St. Rita's
nursing home trial, Gov. Kathleen Blanco said she did everything she
could to sound the alarm as Hurricane Katrina bore down on southeast
Louisiana two years ago today, but that the government must ultimately
rely on the "individual responsibility" of its residents to heed those warnings.

In three hours of testimony, the governor defended her response to
Katrina in what amounted to a mini-trial within the trial as attorneys
for Sal and Mabel Mangano argued that the government was largely
responsible for the deaths of 35 elderly residents who drowned at the
couple's nursing home in St. Bernard Parish.

Blanco said she declared a state of emergency three days before
Katrina's landfall and held frequent news conferences to alert the
public. "My message was very, very simple," the governor said. "I
wanted people to understand that this is potentially the biggest storm
we will ever deal with, and I urged people over and over to protect
themselves and their families by evacuating."

Funny, I don't recall the Dem. Governor calling for/ or even encouraging evacuation until the day before the storm struck...after President Bush called her and told her she needed to evacuate the City of New Orleans.

Gov. Blanco has committed perjury.

Two years ago, Gov Blanco (d) hindered efforts to rescue her people. She was busy blaming the Bush Administration....and now her tune is that it was an "individual responsibility" for the people to fend for themselves.

Gov. Blanco has committed perjury.

And this testimony is in a trial concerning the deaths of nursing home patients. So, according to the Democrat Governor - nursing home patients should have evacuated themselves.

Such warmth and caring.

1,000,000 Saves

As much as real sailors (Navy) joke about the Coasties; I must salute this milestone:

1 million people saved by the US Coast Guard.

The number one rescue was:

• Hurricane Katrina Search and rescue operations alone saved 24,135
lives from imminent danger, usually off the roofs of the victims’ homes
as flood waters lapped at their feet. Coast Guardsmen “evacuated to
safety” 9,409 patients from local hospitals. In total, 33,545 souls
were saved. Seventy-six Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary aircraft
took part in the rescues. They flew 1,817 sorties with a total flight
time of 4,291.3 hours in the air. The air crews saved 12,535. A total
of 42 cutters and 131 small boats also participated, with their crews
rescuing 21,200. Over 5,000 Coast Guardsmen served in Katrina
operations.

Yep, the pale blue sailors done good.

Bravo Zulu to the US Coast Guard.

“This resignation is not the end of the story,” Senate Majority Leader
Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Monday in a statement that forecast Democrats’

If you do not yet have the facts, how does Senator Reid know they lead to the White House?

Islam: A Death Cult

Suseefan recounted the following item that was posted inside a major Mosque in London :

"If a kafir (non-Muslim) is going into a

35 killed as terror blasts rock Hyderabad Kerala Times

Hyderabad, Aug 25: At least 35 people were killed
and 50 injured, many seriously, as two powerful bombs went off almost
simultaneously at an amusement park and a popular eatery in the heart
of Hyderabad Saturday evening in the city's ghastliest terror attack.

Several
of the injured were battling for life in a government hospital as
police and detectives got into the act of trying to find those
responsible for the well-planned terror attacks in the Andhra Pradesh
capital.

The first blast went off at the government-run Lumbini
Amusement Park at around 7.45 p.m. when some 900 people were watching a
laser show just across the road from the state secretariat. At least
six people were killed there.

Even before the stunned
authorities could react, another explosion, seemingly more powerful,
ripped through Gokul Chat Bhandar, a well-known eatery about five km
away, killing at least 25 people.

Simultaneous bombings? Sounds familiar.

A large number of people including women and
children were present.
The park is usually full of people out with
their families on evenings, especially on weekends.

Women and children? Islam loves that.

Minutes
after the first blast, another powerful explosion ripped apart Gokul
Chat Bhandar, which is thronged by huge crowds on evenings. The eatery,
famous for its lip-smacking fast food, was littered with body parts,
pieces of human flesh, belongings of the victims, plates and other
utensils.

Note India is not, repeat not a Muslim country.
But that does not stop Muslims from murdering INNOCENT people.

Battle of Civilization vs Chaos

Joseph Rosenberger writes on today's American Thinker:

The
current political squabbles in America between the liberal, socialist
left and the moral capitalist conservative right are merely a skirmish
line on the edge of two colliding civilizations. The combatants are not
the free market, individual centric conservatives and libertarians vs.
the Nanny State, socialist plantation liberal straw bosses. Not at all!

The
Elephant in the room is Islamofascism - and President Bush and his
brilliant General Petraeus, at the head of the greatest Army of our
lifetime, are decisively engaged. What is at stake dwarfs the '08
elections topics of single payer medical care, unfunded social
security, or our billions of dollars held by China and Saudi Arabia,
for economic blackmail.

Life as we know it -- the profound
blessings of the Age of Enlightenment and the spectacular technological
progress in the arts and sciences that resulted -- is, absent a
courageous defense, doomed to be devoured in the maws of a barbarian
Islamofacism if President Bush's war leadership fails. Militant Islam
means to convert, enslave, or exterminate the infidel non-Muslim world,
depending on the degree of resistance encountered. The Koran demands
it, and militant Islamists are implementing it wherever they have the
critical mass to enforce it. Secular pluralism and a democratically
established Rule of Law will not survive, absent protectors that
exercise lethal force to defend it. This should be the litmus test of
who should be our next president, and no other.

Democrats want to lose in Iraq

Democrats are fearful of any good news from Iraq.
Democrats have invested in the US being defeated in Iraq.

"Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), House majority whip, recently
said it would be "a real big problem for us" - Democrats - if Petraeus
reports substantial progress.

Rep. Nancy Boyda (D-Kan.) recently
found reports of progress unendurable. She left a hearing of the Armed
Services Committee because retired Gen. Jack Keane was saying things
Boyda thinks might "further divide this country," such as that Iraq's
"schools are open. The markets are teeming with people."

Boyda
explained: "There is only so much you can take until we in fact had to
leave the room for a while . . . after so much frustration of having to
listen to what we listened to."

It was the same at the battles of TET. You defeated us! We knew it, and
we thought you knew it. But we were elated to notice your media were
definitely helping us. They were causing more disruption in America
than we could in the battlefields. We were ready to surrender. You had
won!" - General Giap, North Vietnam (memoirs)

President Bush's speech to VFW

The tragedy of Vietnam is too large to be contained in one speech. So
I'm going to limit myself to one argument that has particular
significance today. Then as now, people argued the real problem was
America's presence and that if we would just withdraw, the killing
would end.

The argument that America's presence in Indochina was dangerous
had a long pedigree. In 1955, long before the United States had entered
the war, Graham Greene wrote a novel called, "The Quiet American." It
was set in Saigon, and the main character was a young government agent
named Alden Pyle. He was a symbol of American purpose and patriotism --
and dangerous naivete. Another character describes Alden this way: "I
never knew a man who had better motives for all the trouble he caused."

After America entered the Vietnam War, the Graham Greene argument
gathered some steam. As a matter of fact, many argued that if we pulled
out there would be no consequences for the Vietnamese people.

In 1972, one antiwar senator put it this way: "What earthly
difference does it make to nomadic tribes or uneducated subsistence
farmers in Vietnam or Cambodia or Laos, whether they have a military
dictator, a royal prince or a socialist commissar in some distant
capital that they've never seen and may never heard of?" A columnist
for The New York Times wrote in a similar vein in 1975, just as
Cambodia and Vietnam were falling to the communists: "It's difficult to
imagine," he said, "how their lives could be anything but better with
the Americans gone." A headline on that story, date Phnom Penh, summed
up the argument: "Indochina without Americans: For Most a Better Life."

The world would learn just how costly these misimpressions would be.
In Cambodia, the Khmer Rouge began a murderous rule in which hundreds
of thousands of Cambodians died by starvation and torture and
execution. In Vietnam, former allies of the United States and
government workers and intellectuals and businessmen were sent off to
prison camps, where tens of thousands perished. Hundreds of thousands
more fled the country on rickety boats, many of them going to their
graves in the South China Sea.

Three decades later, there is a legitimate debate about how we got
into the Vietnam War and how we left. There's no debate in my mind that
the veterans from Vietnam deserve the high praise of the United States
of America. (Applause.) Whatever your position is on that debate, one
unmistakable legacy of Vietnam is that the price of America's
withdrawal was paid by millions of innocent citizens whose agonies
would add to our vocabulary new terms like "boat people," "re-education
camps," and "killing fields."

There was another price to our withdrawal from Vietnam, and we can
hear it in the words of the enemy we face in today's struggle -- those
who came to our soil and killed thousands of citizens on September the
11th, 2001. In an interview with a Pakistani newspaper after the 9/11
attacks, Osama bin Laden declared that "the American people had risen
against their government's war in Vietnam. And they must do the same
today."

His number two man, Zawahiri, has also invoked Vietnam. In a letter
to al Qaeda's chief of operations in Iraq, Zawahiri pointed to "the
aftermath of the collapse of the American power in Vietnam and how they
ran and left their agents."

Zawahiri later returned to this theme, declaring that the Americans
"know better than others that there is no hope in victory. The Vietnam
specter is closing every outlet." Here at home, some can argue our
withdrawal from Vietnam carried no price to American credibility -- but
the terrorists see it differently.

We must remember the words of the enemy. We must listen to what they
say. Bin Laden has declared that "the war [in Iraq] is for you or us to
win. If we win it, it means your disgrace and defeat forever." Iraq is
one of several fronts in the war on terror -- but it's the central
front -- it's the central front for the enemy that attacked us and
wants to attack us again. And it's the central front for the United
States and to withdraw without getting the job done would be
devastating. (Applause.)

If we were to abandon the Iraqi people, the terrorists would be
emboldened, and use their victory to gain new recruits. As we saw on
September the 11th, a terrorist safe haven on the other side of the
world can bring death and destruction to the streets of our own cities.
Unlike in Vietnam, if we withdraw before the job is done, this enemy
will follow us home. And that is why, for the security of the United
States of America, we must defeat them overseas so we do not face them
in the United States of America. (Applause.)

Hillary vs John

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - New military tactics in Iraq are working but the
best way to honor U.S. soldiers is "by beginning to bring them home,"
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told war veterans Monday.

Clinton,
seeking the Democratic nomination for president, praised the work that
soldiers have done in Iraq but described the government there as "on
vacation," leaving American troops in the middle of a sectarian war.

Later
the Veterans of Foreign Wars were told by Sen. John McCain, who is
seeking the GOP nomination, that withdrawing from Iraq would be a
historic mistake — far worse than previous U.S. missteps in the country.

McCain
said he understands that Americans are "sick and tired" of the war,
which he said hasn't gone well. Still, he said Gen. David Petraeus and
other military leaders deserve patience.

Petraeus, the
U.S. commander who will report to Congress on progress in Iraq next
month, told the group that in some areas, partnerships between
coalition forces and Iraqi soldiers are "quite robust." He also said
that Iraqi losses have been three times those suffered by the U.S.-led
coalition.

Clinton and McCain spoke to hundreds of members of
the VFW, which is holding its annual convention in Kansas City. On
Tuesday, Democratic candidate Barack Obama and former GOP Sen. Fred
Thompson are to speak. President Bush arrives Wednesday.

Let's see, who speaks like a commander in chief and diplomat.
Clinton: Troops are doing well, let's bring them home.
Clinton: Iraqi government is on vacation
Nope, she doesn't sound like a leader

McCain:
that withdrawing from Iraq would be a
historic mistake..
McCain: Far worse than the mistakes already made.
Better, but lacks force.

From the bowels of Ground Zero she sent this 911 distress signal.
Because She was in desperate need of a hero,
and didn't have time to decipher what to call 'em,
so she called 'em all Her children.
The children of the stars and bars who needed to know nothing more than the fact that she called.
The fact that someone attempted to harm us
this daughter who covered us all with her loving arms.
And now these arms are sprawled across New York City streets.
A smoke filled lung, a silt covered faced,
and a solitary tear poured out of her cheek.
Her singed garments carpets Pennsylvania Avenue and the Pentagon was under her feet.
As she began to talk, she began to cough up small particles of debris
and said, "I am America, and I'm calling on the land of the free."
So they answered.

All personal differences set to the side
because right now there was no time to decide which state building the Confederate flag should fly over,
and which trimester the embryo is considered alive,

You see, someone attempted to choke the voice

They tightened up their bootlaces

They tried to bombard them with the "hold on", "wait-a-minute's", and "what-if's".
And "Daddy, where you goin?".
And, "Mommy, why you leavin?".
And they merely kissed them on their foreheads and said "Don't worry, I have my reasons.
You see, to this country I pledged my allegiance
to defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic.
So as long as I'm breathin, I'll run though hell-fire,

Why I am a Fredhead.

from Stop the ACLU

WHY I AM A FREDHEAD

by @ 6:36 am. Filed under ACLU

The summary below is excerpted from a hostile source but I still like what I hear:

Thompson, who is expected to enter the presidential race formally in
September, but plans to campaign in Iowa on Friday, was not known as a
big-ideas guy and was hardly a heavy-hitter when it came to legislation
during his Senate career from 1994 to 2002. Still, he was considered a
reliably conservative vote on economic, security and social issues
alike. He backed Bush’s tax cuts, a prohibition on a late-term abortion
procedure and voted to give the president the authority to invade Iraq.

More prominently, he established a reputation for working to limit
the role of the federal government and protect states rights - an issue
that remains very important to him and, perhaps, is an indication of
what may lie at the root of his candidacy.

Broadly, he favors a strong federalist approach that emphasizes
personal liberties and fiscal conservatism. “Centralized government is
not the solution to all of our problems and, with too much power, such
centralization has a way of compounding our problems,” Thompson wrote
in a recent column on his Web site. “This was among the great insights
of 1787,” when the Constitution was adopted, “and it is just as vital
in 2007.” He adds: “How we draw the line between federal and state
roles in this century, and how we stay true to the principles of
federalism for the purpose of protecting economic and individual
freedom, are questions we must answer.”

Thompson also:

* Splits with Bush on immigration, opposing the president’s
comprehensive immigration law overhaul bill and, instead, argues for
increased border security as well as full enforcement of current
federal immigration laws. The issue has divided the GOP, and Thompson
is seeking the support of Republicans who object to illegal immigrants
getting a path to U.S. citizenship. In one online column, he says:
“Federal law must be enforced, or our neighborhoods will continue to be
the scene of chilling and lurid crimes committed by those who broke the
law in the first place to come to America.”

* Appears to take a hard-line approach to foreign policy. He
criticizes the United Nations, saying the world body “seems to oppose
human freedom rather than promote it.” And, in one particularly
incendiary commentary for ABC radio in April, he carried on about the
perception of the U.S. around the world and its relationships with
certain countries. He assails Mexico on immigration, arguing that
leaders there “apparently have an economic policy based on exporting
their own citizens while complaining about U.S. immigration policies
that are far less exclusionary than their own.” He adds: “The French
jail perfectly nice people for politically incorrect comments, but
scold us for holding terrorists at Guantanamo.” Thompson saves his most
aggressive comments for Russia, contending that ex-KGB agents
“apparently” run the country, use their oil wealth to engage in
blackmail, and dispose of people who cross them. “Oppose the Russian
leadership, and you could trip and fall off a tall building or stumble
into the path of a bullet.”

* Emphasizes individuals’ right to keep and bear arms, as well as
the right to own and keep property. He suggests in one online piece
that the Virginia Tech massacre could have been deterred had those who
were at least age 21 and met certain criteria been allowed to carry
concealed weapons on school grounds. In the Senate, Thompson voted
against requiring criminal background checks for purchases at gun
shows.

* In a recent commentary, he assailed a 2005 Supreme Court decision
giving local governments broad power to seize private property to
generate tax revenue.

* Calls Bush’s tax cuts a “success story” that helped grow the
economy and says: “Letting them expire would amount to a tax hike of
historic proportions.” He also says the president should hold the line
on spending.

Mass Murder Made to Order for Democrats in US Congress

From Ralph Peters:

August 16, 2007 -- TWO days
ago, al Qaeda detonated four massive truck bombs in three Iraqi vil
lages, killing at least 250 civilians (perhaps as many as 500) and
wounding many more. The bombings were a sign of al Qaeda's frustration,
desperation and fear.

The victims were ethnic Kurd Yazidis,
members of a minor sect with pre-Islamic roots. Muslim extremists
condemn them (wrongly) as devil worshippers. The Yazidis live on the
fringes of society.

That's one of the two reasons al Qaeda
targeted those settlements: The terrorist leaders realize now that the
carnage they wrought on fellow Muslims backfired, turning
once-sympathetic Sunni Arabs against them. The fanatics calculated that
Iraqis wouldn't care much about the Yazidis. [. . .]

But the
second reason for those dramatic bombings was that al Qaeda needs to
portray Iraq as a continuing failure of U.S. policy. Those dead and
maimed Yazidis were just props: The intended audience was Congress.

Al
Qaeda has been badly battered. It's lost top leaders and thousands of
cadres. Even more painful for the Islamists, they've lost ground among
the people of Iraq, including former allies. Iraqis got a good taste of
al Qaeda. Now they're spitting it out.

The foreign terrorists
slaughtering the innocent recognize that their only remaining hope of
pulling off a come-from-way-behind win is to convince your senator and
your congressman or -woman that it's politically expedient to hand a
default victory to a defeated al Qaeda.

Expect more attempts to
generate massive bloodshed in Iraq in the coming weeks. The terrorists
are well aware of the exaggerated-by-all-parties importance of Gen.
David Petraeus' Sept. 15 progress report to Congress. They'll do all
they can to embarrass the general and provide ammunition to the
surrender caucus.

Al Qaeda has studied Vietnam, the are seeking their verison of the Tet Offensive, where the US Press only reported the first day of the offensive and willfully did not report the crushing defeat of the North Vietnamese Army that followed.

Al Qaeda needs the support of the US Media..because it has been defeated on the ground. And only the US Media and its allies in the Democratic Party can save these terrorists.

Self-attacking Muslims?

A week or so ago in Arizona, CAIR was crying about a hate crime. A bottle of Mentos and Diet Coke was throw in the general direction of the double-wide trailer used as an unmarked Mosque. This occurred at 1:30 AM, and later that same day, CAIR had a 10-page press release published.
Now in California, a Mosque was torched, and CAIR is immediately screaming hate crime.

A couple of months back, FBI reports revealed a very, very low rate of crime against Muslims, CAIR advised Muslims to be more aggressive in reporting crimes against Muslims.
Were these incidents in Arizona and California caused by: a) bored thrill seeking teenagers, b) persons attacking Muslims, or c) staged incidents where Muslims are pretending to attack Muslims.

I think the likely answer is A. and the next most likely answer is C.

Dutch Catholic Bishop: Christians Should Pray to Allah

from LittleGreenFootballs
The Roman Catholic bishop of Breda in the Netherlands wants Christians to start praying to Allah.

To promote healing and tolerance.

There is one major problem with this:

Allah is Satan.
That is the only answer for ISLAM's actions.
Islam demands submission,
Islam endorses the torture/murder of INNOCENT men, women and children,
Only SATAN would support that.

God does not support murder.
God allows free will.

Allah is not God, but rather Allah is the Devil.

Allah is EVIL.
God is GOOD.

Sheep, Wolves, and Sheepdogs

William J. Bennett, in a lecture to the United States Naval Academy November 24, 1997 said:

"Most
of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle,
productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident. We may
well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still
remarkably rare. They are sheep.

Then
there are the wolves and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy. Do
you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock
without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world
and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that or
pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.

Then
there are sheepdogs. I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and
confront the wolf. If you have no capacity for violence then you are a
healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for
violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined
an aggressive sociopath, a wolf.

But
what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your
fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone
who is walking the uncharted path. Someone who can walk into the heart
of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed."

We
know that the sheep live in denial; that is what makes them sheep. They
do not want to believe that there is evil in the world. They can accept
the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire
extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and fire exits throughout
their kids schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of
putting an armed police officer in their kid's school. Our children are
thousands of times more likely to be killed or seriously injured by
school violence than fire, but the sheep's only response to the
possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill
or harm their child is just too hard, and so they chose the path of
denial.

The sheep generally do not
like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the
capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog
must not, can not and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheep dog who
intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and
removed.

The world can not work any
other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic
such as ours. Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant
reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he
didn't tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at
the ready in our airports, in camouflage fatigues, holding an M-16. The
sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray
paint himself white, and go, Baa. Until the wolf shows up; then the
entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog.

"There is no safety for honest men except by believing all possible evil of evil men."... Edmund Burke.

"Only the dead have seen the end of war."... Plato

Here
is the point I like to emphasize, especially to the thousands of police
officers and soldiers I speak to each year. In nature the sheep, real
sheep, are born as sheep. Sheepdogs are born that way, and so are
wolves. They didn't have a choice.

But
you are not a critter. As a human being, you can be whatever you want
to be. It is a conscious, moral decision. If you want to be a sheep,
then you can be a sheep and that is okay, but you must understand the
price you pay. When the wolf comes, you and your loved ones are going
to die if there is not a sheepdog there to protect you.

If
you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs are going to
hunt you down and you will never have rest, safety, trust or love.

But
if you want to be a sheepdog and walk the warrior's path, then you must
make a conscious and moral decision every day to dedicate, equip and
prepare yourself to thrive in that toxic, corrosive moment when the
wolf comes knocking at the door.

Indeed,
the sheep dog may just run a little harder, strive to protect a little
better and be fully prepared to pay an ultimate price in battle and
spirit with the sheep moving from baa to thanks.

We
do not call for gifts or freedoms beyond our lot. We just need a small
pat on the head, a smile and a thank you to fill the emotional tank
which is drained protecting the sheep. And when our number is called by
The Almighty, and day retreats into night, a small prayer before the
heavens just may be in order to say thanks for letting you continue to
be a sheep. And be grateful for the thousands, millions of American
sheepdogs who permit you the freedom to express even bad ideas.

I AM A SHEEPDOG.

Defeatist Allies

America's "surge" tactic in Iraq - flooding Baghdad with 30,000 extra
US troops - is set to fail, a committee of British MPs has concluded.
This from SKY NEWS.

We are doomed according to a group of dhimmi MP's in London.

Why are these MP's aiding and abetting lawless terrorists?

"It is too early to provide a definitive assessment of the US
'surge' but it does not look likely to succeed," the MPs concluded.

"We
believe that the success of this strategy will ultimately ride on
whether Iraq's politicians are able to reach agreement on a number of
key issues."

Why phrase this as American failure? Why not say that the battle is within Iraqi politics and that the surge is aiding the process? Why do these idiot politicians want to surrender to the lawless ISLAMIC HORDES.

The committee also hit out at aspects of the UK and allies' approach
to the Palestinian situation and called on former Prime Minister Tony
Blair to "urgently consider" engaging with Hamas.

It said the
collapse of the unity government had been hastened by the failure to
relax a financial boycott imposed after the election victory of Hamas.

So, the West's failure to fund TERRORISTS, who KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE, is why there is no peace in the Mid-East.

What a load of crap! Total crap.

The Democrats in the US are no better.

Ahh, Ron Paul and legions of support

Iowa straw poll happenings:

Supporters of candidate Ron Paul had sought to block voting, arguing
that vote-counting machines had fundamental weaknesses, but a federal
judge refused to grant an injunction on Friday. The matter was appealed
to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, which on Saturday
upheld the ruling, said Matt McDermott, attorney for the Republican
Party of Iowa.

I guess the Ron Paul supporters are afraid of an actual not virtual ballot--since stuffing the actual ballot box is much more difficult than stuffing a virtual ballot box.

Not that the Iowa straw poll means a whole lot anyway.

Corruption Congress

From RealClearPolitics.com
WASHINGTON -- Republicans returning to the House floor on Friday
morning Aug. 3 after their walkout the night before were surprised to
find as presiding officer the Democrat they call "King Corruption":
Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, master of earmarks and backroom
deals. Rep. Ed Pastor, a 64-year-old eight-term Democrat from Phoenix,
Ariz., who is affable and well-liked by Republicans, had been scheduled
to preside. But Speaker Nancy Pelosi, fearing parliamentary tricks by
Republicans, put her muscleman Murtha in the chair. Murtha's
performance as non-partisan presiding officer ran true to form. On a
voice vote, Murtha ruled for Democrats when obviously more Republicans
were on the House floor. He subsequently ordered a roll call vote,
though members rising in support clearly fell short of the 44 required.
After that ruling was challenged, Murtha declared: "The chair's
decision is not subject to question."

Comrade Murtha at his finest. Murtha the 'guilty till proven otherwise' ex-marine (one of only two ex-US Marines, the other - Lee Harvey Oswald) strikes another blow for Democratic government; aka My way or the highway.

Justice for the Marines

The Haditha Marines, otherwise known as the Pendleton 8 are being declared innocent of the horrendous charges against them.

Congressmen Murtha declared them guilty, calling them cold-blooded killers. A backstabbing statement to every American Fighting man. Murtha believe they are guilty until proven otherwise.

But now, those very same Marines that Murtha stood up in front of the
world and declared to be out of control killers, are being exonerated
and cleared of the charges against them.

I wonder if Murhta can be sued for slander. He publicly denounced these young men. Murtha should pay.

President Bush, you need to intervene and praise these
Marines and chastise Murtha for his irresponsible actions against our
Armed Forces and against our country.

Are you outraged? You
should be! Write about this on your blog and spread the story until
Murtha can no longer ignore the consequences of his behavior. Write
your Senator and Congressmen and demand Justice for our Marines. Write
President Bush and let him know that the American people will not stand
for our Men at Arms being slandered and mistreated at the hands of our
elected officials.

the 3 percent congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On
August 2, Democrats fixed a House vote in order to overturn a motion
that would prevent undocumented immigrants from receiving federal
housing funds. The House voted 215 to 213 to deny
housing and employment to illegal immigrants on the annual agriculture
spending bill. The votes were counted, but the Speaker closed the vote
with his gavel. The Democrats then unilaterally and imperially
overturned this result—defying 218 years of precedent. The Speaker
reopened the vote to ensure that the motion was then defeated by a vote
of 212 to 216, disenfranchising the American people and paving the way
for illegal immigrants to receive federal housing and employment
benefits.
Democrats - if they don't win fairly, they cheat, lie and steal --
Democrats have no morality.
Democrats have no shame.

good

The Surge is working. The initial success on the field
by the American army is splitting the Democratic caucus in the House
between those who want to Lose At Any Cost and the Weathervanes Who
Follow The Polls.

Those polls are bad. Only 3% of Americans approve of the Democratic Congress’s handling of the war. Bush is at 24% in this category. Overall, Bush has better poll numbers than the Democratic Congress.

Rank-and-file Democrats already are worrying about the fate of all incumbents in 2008. They see the shift in public support. 42% now think the war was a good idea, up from 35% in May. These Democrats are tacking back.

Georgia Voter ID Law

Georgia voters will be required to show a photo ID at the polls for a
special election in September, following several years of court and
legislative battles, the secretary of state said Tuesday.

A lawsuit contended the 2006 law was an undue burden on voters, and a
Fulton County judge agreed, ruling the law unconstitutional. The
Georgia Supreme Court threw out the case, though, finding the plaintiff
lacked legal standing to challenge the law. On Friday, the high court
denied a motion to reconsider.
Secretary of State Karen Handel said Tuesday that the refusal to
reconsider cleared the way for Georgia to implement the law for its
Sept. 18 special election. But first, she said, the state will launch
an education effort to let voters know about the new requirement.

This is EXCELLENT news.
Any action which helps reduce vote is good.

The same organizations who bus folks to the polls;
can get the list of the required documents and bus those folks to the DMV to get their free state ID card -- so those honest folks can still vote.

But let us be realistic -- those organizations which continue to bitch and moan about this requirement.

Good Iraq News = Bad News for Democrats

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Monday that a strongly
positive report on progress on Iraq by Army Gen. David Petraeus likely
would split Democrats in the House and impede his party's efforts to
press for a timetable to end the war.
Clyburn, in an interview with the washingtonpost.com video program
PostTalk, said Democrats might be wise to wait for the Petraeus report,
scheduled to be delivered in September, before charting next steps in
their year-long struggle with President Bush over the direction of U.S.
strategy.
Clyburn noted that Petraeus carries significant weight among the 47
members of the Blue Dog caucus in the House, a group of moderate to
conservative Democrats. Without their support, he said, Democratic
leaders would find it virtually impossible to pass legislation setting
a timetable for withdrawal.
...
Many Democrats have anticipated that, at best, Petraeus and U.S.
ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker would present a mixed analysis of the
success of the current troop surge strategy, given continued violence
in Baghdad. But of late there
have been signs that the commander of U.S. forces might be preparing
something more generally positive. Clyburn said that would be "a real
big problem for us."

Winning in Iraq: according to the New York Times

Writtten by Michael E. O’Hanlon; who is a senior fellow at
the Brookings Institution. Kenneth M. Pollack is the director of
research at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings.

VIEWED from Iraq, where we just spent
eight days meeting with American and Iraqi military and civilian
personnel, the political debate in Washington is surreal. The Bush
administration has over four years lost essentially all credibility.
Yet now the administration’s critics, in part as a result, seem unaware
of the significant changes taking place.

Here is the most
important thing Americans need to understand: We are finally getting
somewhere in Iraq, at least in military terms. As two analysts who have
harshly criticized the Bush administration’s miserable handling of
Iraq, we were surprised by the gains we saw and the potential to
produce not necessarily “victory” but a sustainable stability that both
we and the Iraqis could live with.

After the furnace-like heat,
the first thing you notice when you land in Baghdad is the morale of
our troops. In previous trips to Iraq we often found American troops
angry and frustrated — many sensed they had the wrong strategy, were
using the wrong tactics and were risking their lives in pursuit of an
approach that could not work.

Today, morale is high. The
soldiers and marines told us they feel that they now have a superb
commander in Gen. David Petraeus; they are confident in his strategy,
they see real results, and they feel now they have the numbers needed
to make a real difference.

Everywhere, Army and Marine units
were focused on securing the Iraqi population, working with Iraqi
security units, creating new political and economic arrangements at the
local level and providing basic services — electricity, fuel, clean
water and sanitation — to the people. Yet in each place, operations had
been appropriately tailored to the specific needs of the community. As
a result, civilian fatality rates are down roughly a third since the
surge began — though they remain very high, underscoring how much more
still needs to be done.

In Ramadi, for example, we talked with
an outstanding Marine captain whose company was living in harmony in a
complex with a (largely Sunni) Iraqi police company and a (largely
Shiite) Iraqi Army unit. He and his men had built an Arab-style living
room, where he met with the local Sunni sheiks — all formerly allies of
Al Qaeda and other jihadist groups — who were now competing to secure
his friendship.

Message to Illinois

Kennesaw, Georgia has REQUIRED homeowners to own a firearm since the mid-1980's.

Crime in Kennesaw dropped dramatically after that law went into effect.

There have been zero (0) gun deaths in Kennesaw, since that law went into effect.

Wake up people, outlawing guns = only outlaws with guns = more crime, not less.

DC Gun Law

Mayor Adrian M. Fenty  said: "We have made the determination that this law can and
should be defended and we are willing to take our case to the highest
court in the land to protect the city's residents. Our handgun law has
saved countless lives -- keeping guns out of the hands of those who
would hurt others or themselves."

WRONG.
The ban on firearms in Washington DC,
made the city the MURDER CAPITAL of the world.
I am safer on the streets of Baghdad than on the streets of Washington DC.

I am praying that the Supreme Court will agree with the DC Circuit Court on this issue.
The D.C. Circuit Court ruled on March 9 that the Second Amendment does
guarantee an individual right to possess a gun -- at least within one's
own home. The ruling was the first by a federal appeals court to strike
down a gun control law based on that view of the Amendment's reach. The
case is Parker, et al., v. District of Columbia (Circuit docket
04-7041). On May 8, the Circuit Court refused by a 6-4 vote to rehear
the case en banc.

Hitler's Lesson; Learned by Islamics

Islamic fanatics have learned from Hitler. They use terror, assassination to push their murderous rule.
Islamic fanatics do not yet have a state, but they are working hard to capture one (Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Gaza, Phillipines).
Islamic fanatics inspired by Osama Bin Laden are working to take control of the entire world. They want to impose 'Taliban' rule on the world.
We, the free people, must defeat them, now.
We, the free people, must fight them - anyplace, anytime they show their ugly face.
We, the free people, must utterly defeat the Islamic Fanatics.

We must not retreat, redeploy, pull back from this fight. We must continue to apply unrelenting pressure on the Islamic Fanatics.

Should We stay or Should We Go?

From Desert Flier:

I finish with a question: we have maintained a presence in Europe for over 50 years. Does the U.S. have a permanent place in Iraq, too?
And a prediction:
We stay permanently, and Iraq becomes my generation's Post-World War Two Europe. We maintain a presence and work hand in hand with the Iraqi government. We patiently wait until they are organized and stable enough to take the lead, and we give them full autonomy while maintaining open-ended leases on a few key military bases.

I agree, that we (the United States Congress) must stop talking about leaving Iraq. The talk of troop withdrawal only encourages the ISLAMIC TERRORISTS, it PROVIDES COMFORT AND SUPPORT to their cause - A WORLDWIDE ISLAMIC STATE.

If Congress would start discussing increases in our level and use of force against ISLAMIC TERRORISTS,
If Congress would remove the handcuffs on the military leadership - ie time between deployments.
If we loosen the Rules of Engagement (ROE) and support the troops when they aggressively engage the TERRORISTS.
Then the ISLAMIC TERRORISTS would be more fearful of us.

Events are going our way:
Pakistan is not going to host Bin Laden much longer.
Iran is unstable, and democracy could win out.

But we must REMAIN STRONG and be willing to stay as long as it takes.

What happenned?

What happened to the words, 'we shall pay any price, bear any burden,
meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the
survival of liberty"?

Those words were spoken by John F Kennedy.

ISLAM demands SUBMISSION.
SUBMISSION is the OPPOSITE of LIBERTY.

The survival of LIBERTY is at STAKE in Iraq. We must STAND and FIGHT in IRAQ, no matter how long it takes to defeat the ISLAMIC TERRORISTS who KILL INNOCENT MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN DAILY in Iraq.

Yes, ISLAMIC TERRORISTS KILL CHILDREN.
ISLAMIC TERRORISTS worship BLOOD, they are servants of Satan.
And the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA must defeat them.

What happened to the words, 'we shall pay any price, bear any burden,
meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the
survival of liberty"?

Those words were spoken by John F Kennedy.

The DEMOCRATS are so FOCUSED on defeating  GEORGE W BUSH.
The DEMOCRATS DO NOT CARE HOW MANY PEOPLE MUST DIE to make BUSH look bad. DEMOCRATS DO NOT CARE.

DEMOCRATS have become USEFUL IDIOTS helping to PROMOTE ISLAMIC TERROR throughout the WORLD.
DEMOCRATS are supporting the ISLAMIC way of TORTURING and ABUSING WOMEN.

Quote of the Day

"I always thought it," she said. "I used to beg him to run for
president. I used to say, 'If you were in the White House, I would be
so safe-feeling. I could go to sleep at night and know that everything
was taken care of up there.'"

07/07/07

An interesting date - 7/7/07, will it be 'lucky'. Was 6/6/06 unlucky?

My personal favorites were 11/19/1999 - the last date for over a thousand years with all odd numbers. Next all odd date will be 1/1/3111.
or 02/02/2000, the first date since 12/28/888 - with all even numbers.

Of course 9/9/99 - overloaded the lotteries.

Quote

“There’s too much political stuff. They’re making us change 50 years of tradition because of two people,” said Kantaris. “And one of them is a draft dodger who turned the White House into a whorehouse.”

Libby: No Jail Time - Thanks to President

The grand miscarriage of justice has been partially stopped.
Scooter Libby will not go to jail over the inconsistencies in the 5 times he testified before the grand jury. A grand jury which did not do what it was convened to do, identify the person (Richard Armitage) who leaked that Mrs Plame worked for the CIA. The runaway US Attorney Fitzpatrick figured out quickly that leaked that she worked at CIA was not a crime, but since he was determined to convicted somebody of something, he attacked Scooter Libby.

Mr Libby was sentenced to 30 months in jail, fined $250,000 and placed on probation. The President commuted the jail time.

Over-reactions to this action by President Bush:

Barack Obama:

"This decision to commute the sentence of a man who compromised our national security cements the legacy of an Administration characterized by a politics of cynicism and division, one that has consistently placed itself and its ideology above the law.

NOTE: Scooter Libby did not compromise our security - Sandy "Pants" Berger did, and Berger committed a felony to protect the Clintons from their crimes and failures.

in June to the lowest monthly total since a U.S.-backed security
clampdown was launched in February, Iraqi government figures showed on
Sunday.

Events

In South America, football fans shout "Freedom" to protest Chavez.

In London, two car bombs discovered and luckily nobody was injured or killed. Good sense by a passing EMT to call the police, quick thinking by the first cop to remove the cell phone from the car.

In Spain, an airport closed due to a bomb being found, again lucky nobody was hurt.

In Scotland, a car was rammed into the terminal, seems this was yet another car bomb.

Also in Scotland, another airport closed by security.

The Battle to Remain Free is Never Ending.

Folks, please show some sympathy

We need to show more sympathy for these good folks.

They travel miles in the heat.
They risk their lives crossing a border.
They don't get paid enough wages.
They do jobs that others won't do, or are afraid to do.

They live in crowed conditions among a people who speak a different language.

They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day every day.

No Sir.....I'm NOT talkin about illegal immigrants,

I'm talking about our brave Men and Women of The United States Military.

Doesn't it seem strange that the Democrats are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops and are continuously threatening to de-fund them?

many thanks to Cookie for sharing this.

Who's to Blame

Who is to blame, for terror attacks?

The Victim, ie The United Kingdom, or The United States.

or

The Terrorist, ie Islamic militants.

The Terrorists and their supporters, both the active supporters and the useful idiots who help protect the terrorists, they are to blame for terror attacks.
The mass murders are to blame for the bloodshed.

A mature, intelligent person can find or create ways to peacefully protest government policies.

But maturity does exist amongst the Islamists.

Islam is a Death Cult.

good justice

"this Court does not sit to 'create a society that includes all
Americans' or to solve the problems of 'troubled inner city schooling'.
We are not social engineers. The United States Constitution dictates
that local governments cannot make decisions on the basis of race.

Consequently, regardless of the perceived negative effects of racial
imbalance, I will not defer to legislative majorities where the
Constitution forbids it"

Quote from the Decision

"For schools that never segregated on the basis of race, such as
Seattle, or that have removed the vestiges of past segregation, such as
Jefferson County, the way to achieve a system of determining admission
to the public schools on a nonracial basis ... is to stop assigning
students on a racial basis.
The way to stop discrimination on the basis
of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race."

Immigration

There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country.
There is room here for only 100% Americanism, only for those who are
Americans and nothing else.
